About Meadowgate Farm

Here at Meadowgate Farm we have been keeping Chickens for a number of years now. Initially it started when we were asked to take on some unwanted birds. This quickly snowballed into having a small flock of unrelated Ixworth’s (Rare Birds) and six pet Hybrid hens.

As we only have small flocks we do sell surplus birds (Eggs, Growers & POL) but only in small numbers as and when we have them available.

We have had numerous successful hatching programmes for our Ixworth Chickens and only sell hatching Ixworth eggs during one of our incubation cycles.
